Privacy Statement Acceptance

I have read and understand the AFP's Privacy Statement.

I understand that the information and clickstream data which the AFP obtains from my use and submission of this web form may be used for the purposes of identifying me, sharing with other law enforcement and government agencies or for criminal investigations and/or legal proceedings.

There are a range of reports that can be made online to ACT Policing. Once you have submitted a report online you may receive an incident number. Police will contact you as necessary regarding your report.

ACT Policing now uses a tool called Axon Community Request, which allows them to collect videos and photos from witnesses. Where appropriate, ACT Policing officers will provide witnesses with an invitation to upload videos and photos related to an incident. More information about this new tool can be found in the  Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).

Personal information may be collected through the online forms on this site. We will keep information which you send in a secure environment and will use it only for the purpose for which it was submitted. Anonymous reporting is available via Crime Stoppers.

The Australian Federal Police manages personal information in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). For more information on the collection and management of personal information, please see our privacy statement.
